Your top and stitches are both beautiful! Thank you for sharing your experience with the batting. I think that's such an important part of a quilt. Can I please ask you what needle you are using?
I saw your post and had to go look at the bat I chose a month or so ago for a quilt. Yes! It's Mountain Mist Cream Rose! I'm fairly new to hand quilting - and now I can really look forward to quilting with this batting. Thanks for telling us what you think. You must be a very experienced quilter to have such perfect stitches. Nancy from joy for grace
I've already written down the name of the batting you are using. Your quilt look so pretty and your stitching is to die for. Just beautiful Lucy. Have a Merry Christmas!
Liefs, Ria.
I love your backing fabric too! It looks like a French General print, is it? Your quilting is amazing. I've used that batting before and it's very nice, and washes nicely too.
Wow Lucy, your quilting stitches are beautiful! I really must try a batting more suitable for hand quilting - cotton is so stiff although great for machine quilting.
Your hand-quilting looks fabulous. I wish I could do that right from the start instead of going through months of having it look like the cat did it. Sigh. Happy New Year!
Thanks for the information on the batting you are using. Your stitches are absolutely perfect! I will keep this batting in mind for one of the quilts I want to hand quilt. I found you through Pinterest and now have added you to my reader to keep up with your wonderful projects. Thanks for Sharing

Hi Lucy
Awesome quilting. Can I ask if the marked quilting lines are drawn with a pencil or did you use a Clover Hera marker?
