Blue and white

Phyllis asked me on which quilt is my applique block pinned. That is the backing of this 'blue quilt'  (I'm not so good in naming my quilts.) I made it years ago. I still love it and I use it often on the couch.

I love blue and white quilts. I'm working on this quilt. I am using two fabrics. All blocks the same blue and ecology cloth. Boring to sew but I know when it is finished it will be very decorative and very peaceful in my living room.

I found a nice border fabric in my stash. Because working on my blue and white quilt is a bit boring I started cutting and sewing htsts. Maybe it is becoming a king size quilt with hsts ?? I don't know. I just will start and will see what will to do with them.

Love your quilt on the logs and understand about the boredom thing.
I shall have to see and watch what the 1/2 square triangles turn into.

Lieve groetjes, Evelyne

Op mijn wenken bediend! Or: thank you for the good service , would that be the correct translation? Anyway, thanks for showing the quilt, now I recognize it, it is lovely, fresh. Love blue and white quilts, but also love red and white quilts (both are on my - long - to do list) & love the combination of both with pink. You are ticking al lot of those boxes in this post. Very inspiring again. Happy Easter!

I'm glad to see you posting - I've wondered what you are doing. I love the quilt on the woodpile - it truly is a treasure. I know what you mean about getting bored with a two color quilt - maybe that's why I hardly ever make one.

Your blue quilt is lovely. What a beautiful picture of it with the woodpile! Your current blue and white quilt looks to have space for some of your gorgeous hand quilting - I am sure it will be classic and wonderful! I always enjoy seeing progress on your projects.

Your blue and white quilt is just fantastic, from the fabrics to the pinwheel posts, to the hand quilting. And there's nothing like an all blue and white quilt. In general, I just love the look and feel of your quilts and your blog.

I like the idea of doing a two color quilt now and then just so I don't have to stress about fabric placement like I do with the scrap quilts. Yours is going to be gorgeous!

Helemaal waar, werken aan 'n quilt met steeds dezelfde stoffen is boring.... Maar straks, als ie af is, prachtig! Juist de eenvoud maakt t zo mooi. Ben benieuwd naar je nieuwe project!

I love the picture of your blue and white quilt so much that I have used it as the background on my laptop. Hope you don't mind.

What is the block name of the block that you are using in the blue and white quilt still in progress?
